20^th anniversary of the
fall of the Berlin Wall

On Sunday 8 November an ecumenical service of thanksgiving was held in St Mary’s Church in Berlin-Mitte to mark the 20^th anniversary of the fall of the Wall.

The service was conducted by Cardinal Georg Sterzinsky, Archbishop of Berlin, and Provost Friederike von Kirchbach, and featured contributions from the Salvation Army Brass Band Berlin as well as organ music.
