Salvation Army Carving from the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge)
We have the ultimate gift for you from Chemnitz: A small Salvation Army band with singers and a conductor standing in front of the Seiffener Church (seven figures). This carving can be acquired through The Salvation Army in Chemnitz only. The small band (three figures) with the Christmas tree and candle holder costs 24,00 EUR, excluding postage and packaging. The conductor, drummer, trumpeter and singers kann be ordered separately at the price of 3,50 EUR per piece, excluding postage and packaging. The net profit from the sales of this carving will benefit the Heckert Project of The Salvation Army in Chemnitz. Each set is an original from the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) which are famous for such carvings.
You can download an order form (in german).
On this page you can view the band and the single figures (pictures below). At the bottom left you can see the drummer and the conductor, to the right the singers and trumpeters. Small adjustments will be made to the uniform. Other Salvation Army figures are available now: An advent candleholder and a music clock playing different tunes (you must make your choice on your order form).
